"FORA directed us to Savanna Weis with Bliss Drift Travel as their “Belize expert” when I reached out to them for assistance in the early stages of planning my honeymoon. Savanna helped me and my husband plan our honeymoon to Belize. She took care of everything - all we had to do was book our flights and pack our bags. She did an excellent job of highlighting places to stay and experiences that reflect our interests. We wanted a combination of active (hiking, swimming, touring) and leisurely activities.

We ended up booking five nights at Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge in the Cayo district of Belize and five nights at Matachica resort in Ambergris Caye. While we were in the mainland, we had a day trip to Tikal National Park in Guatemala which was unreal. It was a long and tiring day but absolutely worth it. We also did a guided kayaking cave tour which was very unique and a little bit scary. Other than that, we did multiple hikes and took advantage of the complimentary paddle boards and kayaks that Sleeping Giant offers to explore the Sibun River. The resort staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The grounds are breathtaking. Great place to go if you love plants.

Our stay at Matachica was amazing. We stayed in the seafront suite with our own pool. Housekeeping replaced our towels multiple times per day, which was great because we pretty much spent our whole time in the water. We used the kayaks and paddle boards provided by Matachica to visit the reef and snorkel. We saw many sting rays and nurse sharks. We explored the island using our golf cart rental that Savanna arranged. We went into San Pedro, Secret beach, and Bliss beach on Caye Caulker. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

Savanna was incredibly attentive leading up to our trip and occasionally reached out during the trip in case we had any issues. She even let us know that our gate had changed at the airport! We had the best honeymoon ever without any stress because Savanna took all the logistics out of it. We are already thinking of planning our next trip using her services!"
